1. Email Sample Information
For customers in North America, download the CSA Sample Submission Form and email to email@example.com. A member of the serology services team will confirm your order and coordinate the shipment.
For customers in Europe, please contact the Infection Biology Unit at the German Primate Center/Deutsches Primatenzentrum (DPZ) GmbH.
For customers in the rest of the world including Asia, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
2. Ship Samples
Select overnight delivery by 10:30am- no need to pay for priority overnight. Shipments should only be send Monday-Wednesday to ensure delivery during our business hours Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time. Please include your tracking information on the CSA Sample Submission Form or in an email to email@example.com.
3. Sample Receipt
The serology services team will unpack the samples and check that the contents in the box match the CSA Sample Submission Form. If there are any problems, a team member will contact the person listed on the CSA Sample Submission Form. Samples are entered into the testing queue in the order they are received. If priority testing is requested, please call to confirm.
4. Results Reported
Results are typically reported no later than 4:00 pm the Friday after samples are received. A report will be emailed to the contact listed in the CSA Sample Submission Form. If there are any unexpected results or samples that test antibody positive, someone will call to discuss and schedule any follow-up testing. Confirmatory testing is available for SRV, STLV, and SIV by western blot analysis.
